As the founder and creative director of ETW Media Productions Danie (they/them) brings unique vision and personal passion to every interaction and project, and this all began during their Bachelor of Motion Picture Arts (BMPA) at Capilano University. It was here that they first discovered their passion for making media that matters when they had the honor of bringing a documentary to life that worked to shed light on an incredible young man dancing and body-building his way through Cystic Fibrosis. Experiencing the audience reaction and witnessing how hearts were touched by this story helped Danie realize the power in showcasing unique voices and of making meaningful films that move people. This experience where Danie learned to direct and lead on a tight-knit, multi-person, film set was where the first inklings of ETW Media Productions were born. Danie dreamed of the total creative freedom, joy, and the work-life balance they knew could be found as the head of their own company and began working to bring this dream to life.

Over the past decade, Danie has gained invaluable experience and worked with amazing clients such as Coco-Cola, Pixar, Habitat for Humanity and more, and has been proud to collaborate on many amazing stories. As a Queer artist, Danie is no stranger to growth and evolution which is why they enjoy the myriad of creative opportunities available in the industry and value every chance they have to consistently expand and evolve. Danie is passionate about helping their friends and family to find joy within the industry alongside them and hopes that one day ETW Media Productions might be a collective that will be whispered about in revered circles as the place to work and be. Danie continues to seek clients and projects that help to foster this spirit of growth and pride while generating excitement, and they look forward to collaborating with you on your next beautiful vision.
